Poems
Bindu writes poems when prodded by her muse and her ancestors.
Here she shares some of her poems.
You Are The One
For more than sixty thousand years,
All around the world,
Tribes of women lived in peace and harmony.
The Shame of It
The shame of it is
I thought I asked for it.
That it was my fault.
We Belong To The Light
We’re not from here.
Lifetime after lifetime,
We’ve waited.
Vulnerable
The drought breaks.
Grace enters.
Compassion pours into a heart,
Done
They stitched the mouths
of the storytellers in my family.
Stories brimming with
Make Way As I Rise
What I wanna know is
How did you get away with it?
Convincing me
Reclaim
Patriarchy has obliterated
Love.
Now that you know,
Waking Up in the Outback
Under the blue dome skies,
Anklets jingle.
Clouds of red dust blind.
